Organizing and valorization of the faecal sludge management services for the commune IV of Niamey!
Hydroconseil in association with GRET, has started the feasibility study for the implementation of an innovative pilot project for the organization of faecal sludge services in the commune IV of Niamey. This study started in July 2020 and will end in April 2021 with the submission of programming documents for the AFD. The diagnosis phase is underway, and we engage with the stakeholders to ensure that the services are tailored to the constraints and challenges they face. The work also includes a focus on valorisation options that our team is analyzing with both interest and caution. Indeed, marketable valorisation requires product stability and regularity of supply, which are then consequences of a successful organisation of FSM.
